Are certifications needed?

Here in the U.S.A., QA certifications are not required for 99% of the jobs available. A simple search on Indeed, LinkedIn, and any other job searching application for QA jobs will most likely show this. This may differ for jobs outside of the U.S.A, but because most of my audience is based in the U.S.A. we will stick with that for now.
