Everyday when I login to LinkedIn and Twitter, I see someone posting about this brand new certification that they just obtained. Then I think to myself, didn’t this same person post about a complete different new certification last week, and the week before that?

In today’s fast-paced tech industry, many professionals see collecting tech certifications as a way to stay relevant and advance their careers. However, while there are some benefits to collecting certifications, there are also downsides that should be considered. In this article, we will explore both the pros and cons of collecting tech certifications and why you may want to rethink this approach.
