Methodologies lay out the framework and guidelines of software being developed and tested. It is a concept that is frequently asked in interviews. This list will go over some of the most commonly asked interview questions in regards to testing methodologies.

1. What is the Waterfall methodology?

Answer: The Waterfall methodology is a sequential and linear approach to software development. It divides the project into distinct phases, such as requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance. Each phase must be completed before moving on to the next, and changes are typically not easily accommodated once a phase is completed.

Answer: Scrum is a specific framework within the Agile methodology. It provides a structured way to manage work within an Agile context. Scrum includes roles (Product Owner, Scrum Master, Development Team), events (Sprint, Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective), and artifacts (Product Backlog, Sprint Backlog, Increment). It helps teams organize their work and interactions to achieve Agile goals.
